We have to play the long game.
-
Step 1: Understand *how* (exactly) the system is rigged.
Corporate America has been able to create a system that aids its amassing of such great power and wealth because most Americans don’t have the time to understand how they’re doing it. It also allows them to trick us into believe the problems are simple, like immigration or laziness is to blame. We can’t let them dupe us into harming the innocent. We can’t fight against what we don’t know. Yet - because of Corporate America’s success, most Americans are living paycheck to paycheck across several jobs while trying to care for their families and don’t have time to understand complicated tax law or market rules and corporate regulations. The powerful are counting on this.

This is why I’ve created this site. I’ll break down the most important and egregiously unjust actors and policies. I’ll do the research so those who don’t have the time don’t have to. Knowledge is power.
-
Step 2: Make economic justice a voting issue.
Armed with knowledge, we can make our policy demands key voting issues. We can join campaign events and demand that candidates make promises on these issues. We can call, email, and visit our elected representatives and declare that we won’t vote for them again unless they make progress on these issues.

I’ll share on this site tips for reaching out to candidates and how to learn about campaign events and how to most effectively make your voice heard. I’ll share talking points and easy ways to remember the specifics of change we need on the policies that matter most - to use in both conversations with officials and your friends and family.
-
Step 3: Hold our leaders to account.
Our work is not done after we’ve voted. We must stay vigilant and ever-present to our elected representatives. Corporate America is. We must call, email, and visit our representatives as often as we can and continue to demand their leadership and votes on legislations that would make the system fair for all Americans. We must also have clear demands. Movements fail when they don’t have clear, specific, and actionable demands. Guess who is making very specific and actionable demands, even drafting legislation? Corporate America.

I will keep you updated on this site of key legislative leaders, pending legislation, and executive branch appointees with power to enact change. You can then take this information and hold power to account.
